January Development Update
Back on the 5 October 2021, we held the Nestables’ closed pre-alpha. The intention of that pre-alpha was to give our community, especially those that supported us during our pre-sale, an early preview of Nestables. Despite development still being at a very early stage, the pre-alpha was a success. Since then, significant progress has been made on Nestables, with substantial gameplay depth and content added. We are getting closer to realising our vision for a full free-to-play and play-to-earn release of Nestables.
It is with great excitement that we are pleased to announce a Public Alpha starting on the 24 February, for holders of Founder’s Nestables.
I think it is important to highlight that this will be an Alpha — not specifically a Beta. This is because it is not possible to implement the blockchain side of Nestables at this point in time. Enjin’s winning of a Polkadot Parachain slot means that we are getting closer to free-to-play and implementing the blockchain side of the game. Until Efinity is fully operational, we do not want to classify the current state of development as a “Beta”. Regardless, this is a great opportunity to continue testing the game, improve balancing and polish gameplay off-chain.
